usericons to usericons page

  • Aug. 27th, 2007 at 11:51 PM
I would like by clicking on usericons in friends view to link to the usericons page.

I tried to do it myself but... no go. This (see cut) is what I did. Nothing changes. What should I be doing?

SOLVED.

function print_entry

var string userpic = ($showuserpic and defined $e.userpic) ? ($e.userpic + "<br />") : "";
if ($showuserpic) {
if ($bgcolor) {
"""<div class="user-icon" style="border: 1px; padding: 2px; background-color: $bgcolor;"><a href="$*SITEROOT/allpics.bml?user=$e.poster.username">$userpic</a>""";
} else {
"""<div class="user-icon"><a href="$*SITEROOT/allpics.bml?user=$e.poster.username">$userpic</a>""";

}

If nothing is changing, that probably means you're not selecting your theme layer as the active one.

Incidentally, that code will always link to your userpics page, not your friends'. Use $e.poster.username instead of $p.journal.username.

thanks for the tip. I've figured it out. It was a case of having two cases of print_entry
