Font Kerning and Spacing - Solved!

  • May. 29th, 2007 at 8:32 AM
1. I looked through the font tags and didn't see any note on kerning. Is it possible to take out the weird exaggerated space between the letters on the sidebar titles?

2. Is it possible to take out the space between the Entry Subject and the Date/time. It is really huge on my journal and it looks weird because of the sizing.

3. Is it possible to make more space between entries, or to make a divider line between them, either one would be fine with me.

Thanks.

the code for a horizontal line is <*hr color="#xxxxxx" /*>. Replace the x's with the RGB color code of your choice or leave out the color="#xxxxxx" entirely for the themes default color.

1: .widget-header,
.widget .widget-header a {
text-transform: none;
letter-spacing: normal;
}

2: h2 { border-bottom: 0px;}
3: There are a couple of options. You could add some combination of <HR /> or <BR /> tags in the Entry Footer HTML on the Customize Journal pages. Or, apply some styling to .asset-footer, like height: or border-bottom:. Try the entry divider tag.

Perfect! Thanks.

I used this one, changing header to footer and it worked. It never occurred to me to just change header/footer when I looked at it before, duh.
