changing font of entry text -- SOLVED!

  • Feb. 14th, 2007 at 9:56 PM
Hello! I know absolutely nothing about CSS but I want to make a simple alteration to my current layout (Woodcut Spring). I'm using Firefox v. 2.0.0.1 and I have a Paid Account. I simply want to change the font of the entry text (to Verdana, specifically). I don't mind if everything else (sidebar, links, subject) stays the way they are.

I did look in the tags but I couldn't find a straight answer to this. I'm sure this has been answered before, but I'd appreciate your help. Or even someone pointing me in the direction of the solution. Thank you. :)

Well, not this exact question, but one similar, for changing the size instead of the font. You want to change the font-family property instead:
.asset-body {
    font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
}
(Add to your Custom CSS.

That's great, but I've got a question of my own: what if I wanted to change the font in ALL of the layout?
Please & thank you!

This only works for Firefly Night-- for other themes it might be slightly different. Change this line:
.asset-body {font-family: Futura, sans-serif;}
to this:
body, .widget-header,
.widget .widget-header a,
.nav .item a {font-family: Futura, sans-serif;}
