Sidebar Heading Background and Date/Time Color - SOLVED

After a search on the concept didn't turn up any answers, here goes...

I'd like to be able to change the sidebar heading color on my journal to one that matches the blue in my user icon. I'm a newborn when it comes to CSS and can't figure out where to begin.

Also I would like to be able to change the date/time text color but again can't figure out how. The changes I've made so far can be seen at http:/seeanew.livejournal.com
