blockquotes? (solved!)

  • Dec. 7th, 2006 at 4:09 PM
I'm trying to override my blockquotes so that the border turns into something more layout appropriate. I'm using Urban Noir with the following stylesheet in the Custom CSS box.

a{color:grey;}
a:link{color:grey;}
a:visited{color:black;}
a:hover{color:#ffaacc;}
a:active{color:#cc4466;}
.item a:hover {background:#cc4466;}

blockquote {border-left: 5px solid #cc4466;}

body {background:black url(http://pics.livejournal.com/daemonitellama/pic/000h8gy5);}

#header {background-image: url(http://pics.livejournal.com/daemonitellama/pic/000bbatf);}
#header-description{color:#cc8877;}

#page-inner{background: #EFEFD6 url(http://pics.livejournal.com/daemonitellama/pic/000bpaak) no-repeat;}

.widget-header {color:#cc8888; font-weight:300;}
.widget-header a{color:#cc8888;font-weight:300;}

.asset-header {}

And this is what I'm currently getting, which seems to be the default and therefore not overriding.

You need to use this instead:
.asset-body blockquote {
    border-left: 5px solid #cc4466;
}
