Replacing security icons.

  • Oct. 13th, 2006 at 3:39 PM
Hey, new to Expressive and I've managed to work around all of my problems except this one.

I'd like to replace the default security icons (the lock and the eye) with an image of my own choice. I found the part of the CSS that it's contained in but I cannot figure out how to put it together to override what's already present.

This is the part where the icon is contained:
span .lj-entry-securityicon

I don't mind if it's not possible to differentiate in the CSS between the lock and the eye as I had planned to use the same image for both anyway. Any guidance would be very appreciated.

mellabobella's suggestion only works for S1, and Expressive uses S2. The security icon is a class variable, and I can't find where in the S2 Core code it's defined. So, you'll probably have to override the functions in Expressive where it's used.

Huzzah! I was just looking at this again yesterday and I guess I was close but didn't quite have it. Thank you!
