Bug Fix: Customising Text

  • Sep. 3rd, 2006 at 12:54 AM
To the writers of the original layout code...

Almost all the text for the layout is customisable through the generic Edit Journal Style GUI interface (such as text for comments, etc.) except the text for the Permalink at the bottom of entries and the Reply, Parent and Thread text on comments. These can be made to appear along with the other customisations by putting:

property use text_permalink ;
property use text_comment_reply ;
property use text_comment_parent ;
property use text_comment_thread ;

into propgroup text { }.

Re: sorry, didn't understand
All this bit of code does is make a GUI interface in the journal modification area to allow to to change the colours of the entry footer links and stuff without having to hard code them in a layer. They may even have been implemented by the developers now, I don't know.

It's code that needs to be inserted into a particular part of the base theme - it sounds to me like it not what you're looking for though. What is it exactly that you want to do?
