Header help in Cycling Green

  • Sep. 25th, 2011 at 12:08 PM
Hi there. I am trying to change to a custom header in Expressive Cycling Green. The code I am using is this:

#header-inner {
background-image: url(http://i1042.photobucket.com/albums/b424/willowretreat/whispers.jpg);
height: 225px;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: top center;

Now, I know my header is not the right dimensions (I'm trying to upload a 940 px wide one to Photobucket but Photobucket is being a bitch and not letting me into my account ... so for now I'm stuck with this one) ... BUT the problem I'm having as you can see if you look at my LJ is that the title "Willow Retreat" is still showing ... and messing up my new header! Is there a way of getting rid of all of this stuff and just having my nice clean header showing?

Please help. Thanks so much!

P.S. I'm useless at html-speak and CSS-code speak so if someone could just give me the correct code to paste in, I'd be very grateful. Thanks again!

Did you try deleting the Journal Title on the main page of the Journal Style page? I think that may be all you have to do. Good luck!!

That's too bad! I checked my Custom CSS panel and saw this code, maybe if you insert it in yours, this might work??

#header-name {
display: none;

*crosses fingers* I can keep going through mine if you need me too.

ETA: Yes, that works! I just tested it on my own journal by taking out that code then hurried up and put it back in. lol Just add the above code to your Custom CSS and you should be all set.

ummm I don´t really know i´m not into this really but I can show you my code, just change it. and about the willow retreat I don´t thik you can take it off? but there is a code to make it invisible (kind of, i think) but I don´t have it sorry? whatever here is the code I change my pics for the link you left here :P

#header-inner {
background-image: url(http://i1042.photobucket.com/albums/b424/willowretreat/whispers.jpg);
#header, #header-content {
background-image: none;
#header-inner {
background-image: url(http://i1042.photobucket.com/albums/b424/willowretreat/whispers.jpg);
height: 239px;
#container-inner, #header-inner {
width: 906px;/* Change the width of the header and overall container boxes*/
if it doesn´t fit change the height and width. it´s all I can do for you and if it doesn´t work I´m really sorry :)

Try this:

#header {
background: url(http://i1042.photobucket.com/albums/b424/willowretreat/whispers.jpg);

#header-inner {

#header-text {
