Using images for links list - SOLVED

  • Nov. 17th, 2010 at 1:40 AM
Hi! I would like to use images instead of text for the links list. Could anyone please help me on that?
If this is not possible, is there any way I can increase the font size for the links list?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could use a free text box for your links, rather than the default links list. Then you can put any HTML in there you want -- and use images for your links. (I'd suggest using images you save in your ScrapBook/Gallery here at LJ.)

Does that make sense?

(I don't use images, generally speaking, but I do put my links in a free text box... Works great.)

Basically, no, it's not possible to use images, although you can with the Minimalism layout. Otherwise, you would have to hack the print_module_links() function. It will be easier to just build your own list in the custom text module, as charliemc suggests.

<ul><li><img src="http://LINK TO IMG #1" /></li>
<li><img src="http://LINK TO IMG #2" /></li>
<li><img src="http://LINK TO IMG #3" /></li>
etc....
</ul>

More information here if you need it.
