Help with sidebar background issue

  • May. 9th, 2010 at 10:16 PM
I've gone through all the sidebar background entries, but haven't found a specific solution for my problem. I know how to change the background color of the sidebar, but when I do, there is still a gap under the header area that doesn't let the color of the sidebar go all the way up to the bottom of the header. Changing the #page div to the color of the sidebar only makes a bar of the sidebar color go all the way across under the header which I don't want; I want the sidebar to be one color and the content another. You can see the problem in my test journal layoutgifts. Is there a way to just fill in the gap between the top of the sidebar and the header?

No, because it's the 20px of top-margin on #content.
#content { margin-top: 0; }

Ah, I see. I think I know how I can work with that though, so thanks!
