Transparent Central Content Strip? - SOLVED!

  • Feb. 23rd, 2010 at 10:19 PM
First, thank you all so much for all of your help.  You've helped me create a really great journal!  I have one small background question and that is concerning the solid color of the scrolling content strip.  Is it possible to make it transparent so that the page background shows through?  If there is a post about this I'm afraid I haven't been able to find it.  If it's not possible, it's not that big a deal.  I just thought it would make the page look nicer.

I am using the Mixit style and have a free account.  My browser is Firefox.

Thanks again for all you do to help us create the looks we want.

Yes. How can I make it transparent? Or isn't it possible?

From looking at your journal and the graphics, I think you want this instead:

#page { background-color: transparent; }

Thanks to both of you. Yes, Mike's solution worked. Bravo!
