Header links issue and entry title colours.

  • May. 26th, 2009 at 11:26 AM
Hi, I've been digging around here but I think I don't know the right terms for my search to be effective.

This is my page I would like to be able to move the big link in the header (the Recent entries/archive/friends....bit) and change its width and maybe fonts. But especially I would like to move it down below the picture.

I found here how to move it down but my problem is that under the picture there is not enough place to accomodate it. it goes under the darker gray box that contains the entries.

Also I can't seem to find how to change the colour of my entry titles.

I appreciate any help you can give this hopeless newbie. Any step by step tutorial will also be welcome.

These questions have both been covered pretty extensively in the tagged entries, just FYI. This is the CSS to change the entry title color:
.asset-name a {color: #xxxxxx}

If you need more space to move the header links down, increase the height in #header-inner{}

Thank you very much for the code.

Can you tell me which tags would those be under?

And I'm afraid I don't know how to do what you suggest - increasing the height in the #header-inner thing, but I'll look around.

All right, so I figured out how to increase the height, in #header-inner. So now I have more space below, but also too much space above the header picture. Is there a way to move the picture up or decrease the space above?

As for the header links, could you direct me to a post on how to:
get rid of the name that appears if you leave the "journal title" blank.
Change the fonts, name and size of those header links.

Am very grateful for the help.
