Comment Threads: random question

  • Apr. 3rd, 2009 at 9:30 AM
I thought we could stop comment threads indenting to the point of invisibility with CSS now?

Is this something I have dreamed?

I am not having an issue with this myself BUT someone was complaining about it last night in a journal I was in. She has a paid account so I can tell her how to do it with a theme layer it's just going the CSS route would be so much easier - if it exists...

Looks like you already got some good answers to your question in s2flexisquares. It's possible in FS to remove comment indenting through CSS, but as I explained here, you need a theme layer to do this in Expressive.

Also, it's not much of a solution, but one can append "?view=flat" to the end of the URL for comment pages to remove all threading and display comments in the posted order.

Thanks Mike.
Expressive is what I am most comfortable with (it's the first one I ever played with) but the person who mentioned the problem is using FS so I asked in both places because I reckoned I'd get some different answers one way or another (which I did.)

:D

"?view=flat"
That's useful to know.
