Centering nav links? [SOLVED]

  • Nov. 30th, 2008 at 10:52 PM
Hi everyone! I'd like to thank everyone here for being so much help - I've managed to make all of my journals pretty. However, there's one thing I haven't been able to do.

I'm trying to center the navigation links on one of my journals. The journal is myfairytale_xo, it's a Plus account, base layout Typekeys White, and I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.18.

My attempts at CSS include

#header-text {
float: center;
text-align: center;
}

and

#header .nav .item
{
text-align: center;
}

I lengthened the image a little and screwed around with padding, per crucibelle's suggestion, and now it looks great. Thanks so much!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think it's #header-content where you have to place the text-align:center;

I might be wrong though. Try it and see if it works.

It doesn't seem to have worked. Thanks so much, though!

No problem! =) Did you find a way to fix it? They look centered to me. If you are wanting the links to be centered on the polaroid, you're probably going to have to add some padding.
