Tag List

Problem I am having:

I have selected list rather than cloud for the tag list, but I can't seem to reduce the line height. If I drop it below 10px, it just cuts off part of the text in the list without actually reducing the gap between the lines.

Could anyone tell me what I am doing wrong.

The code, such as it is at the moment, is here:

Why are there two line-height specifications for the list? That is, there's an 80% for the widget thing, and then a 10px for the list item. I'm sort of wondering if they are arguing with each other, and it's only displaying 80% of whatever px is specified or something? I haven't ever tried to specify a pixel size inside a class that includes a font % size, so maybe it generally works fine, but I thought I'd check if that was relevant.

I'm too lazy to look and see if ALSO those are all inside the nav specification for 1.4em. It could be arguing with itself there, too? Sometimes these things seem to happen without a ton of sense-making, after all. Is there a reason to use different relative terms for each (that is, an absolute px, a relative 80% and a relative 1.4em)?

I took out the widget line height and reduced the line height for the list code, and it made no difference. I can't see that a line height on the nav codes would make any diff, but I took it out anyhow, to check. Still no diff.

It may be that the tag section, due to its definitions for list and cloud, may be unalterable outside of using a layer.

Your ul.nav{ section is missing its closing brace, so about half of your stylesheet isn't getting parsed. You'll have to fix that before messing with line height, because it looks like there's a lot of things that might be interfering.
