Sidebar queries: Page summary and headings

  • Nov. 12th, 2008 at 11:31 AM
I'm building a new journal from the ground up using 'Expressive - unstyled' as a base (that's what we're calling it these days, right?)

Thanks to this journal I've managed most to accomplish most of the things I want, there's just two problems I can't deal with and one of those, I think, is just down to the fact that I simply I don't know the correct terminology to use.

1) I'd like the headers in the sidebar to all be in uppercase and not bolded (similar to the way they are in this journal)
and
2) I'd like to increase the line spacing between the items in the Page Summary if at all possible.

I think there are previous posts to which I could link you, but I'm having too much fun experimenting with Firebug. So, I'll just give you the code:
.widget-header, .widget-header a {
    font-weight: normal;
    text-transform: uppercase;
}
.archive-widget .widget-content {
    line-height: 2em;
}
Oops, forgot to mention you can change the "2em" to pixels or whatever spacing you want.

Thanks a lot - the uppercase thing was driving me insane!

btw
Would the line-height work if you specify a percentage value instead, or not?

Sure, any valid CSS unit should work; I just used something obvious in my example.
