User icons and text wrap.

  • Sep. 16th, 2006 at 9:25 AM
Is there a way I can prevent the entry text from wrapping beneath the user icon? I have little to no idea what I'm doing with CSS, so thus far my only plan was to try using text formatting HTML stuff like < blockquote> or < center>, with less than favorable results. Any (easily explained, as if you were explaining to a tiny helpless child. heh.) ideas/solutions would be greatly appreciated.

This is a shot in the dark that may or may not work, but try

.asset-body div.user-icon { height: 100%; }

If all goes well, that should make the /container/ of the userpic reach the full length of the entry. You might also need to mess around with something like img.user-icon { float: left; } if the icon winds up in the middle of the page, vertically; I'm not sure whether it will do that or not. Give it a try and see.
