sidebar issues

  • Oct. 25th, 2008 at 12:13 PM
Quick question, so I don't need to keep bothering the same person :)

I'm having sidebar placement issues. I can get it to align only to the left, and either underneath my entries with a border between them, or beside the entries with no border. I'm sure it's something very simple that I'm missing.

Basically, I want my sidebar to be on the right, and with a border between that and the entries. I'm using a customised theme layer with additional CSS, so the options for layouts has disappeared from the main page and will only allow me to have the column/no sidebar option so I can't fix it there.

Layer is here.

Thank you!!!

It has nothing to do with bothering the same person. ;) I've just been away for a few days and without Internet connectivity. If you go through the tutorial for creating a theme layer here, it'll show you how to combine your CSS into your theme layer, which should solve most of your problems.

Hee! I thought you were away, and didn't want you to have to come back to more questions from me!

Okay, I've done that, but the sidebar is still stuck on the left side and without a border. :/ Can you spot what I've done wrong?

Somehow this line wound up inside your CSS when it needs to be in the theme layer code proper:
set layout_type = "3CM"

Also, it needs to say "2CR" not "3CM", which is for 3 columns.
