header text problems

  • Sep. 15th, 2006 at 9:15 PM
Ok I think I have checked all of the past posts to make sure I am not being obnxious and double posting.

I just made a new header in bunnylicious and I want all of the text off of it. I found the post about making the header an image map, but I just want the header with nothing on it. I managed to successfully make all of the text go away, but when I did my header image slowly started to loose height until a large portion of the header image was cut off. Is there a way to get rid of the text on the header with keeping my image the size I want it?

Thank you for any help you can offer *^^*

If the header picture is a background image, then it won't give the div any height. The height of the text was part of what made the container big enough to show the whole thing. Without the text, you need to define the height specifically. Add:

#header-inner {height: 300px; }

to your css. You might need to experiment a bit for the precise height, I'm just tossing off 300 from eyeballing the picture. Which is, by the way, very nice. ^_^
