Linkbar: hiding #comments

  • Sep. 24th, 2008 at 11:39 AM
Hi all,

I was wondering if it were possible to hide the "# comments" link in the linkbar on the entries page?

I'm making a layout for someone, and they only want a "reply" and "add to memories" link.
I used this tutorial to hide all other links, besides the "mem add" one. It seems though that "#comments" and "leave a comment" links aren't included in that bit of code.
I tried going through the source code myself, but just can't seem to figure it out. I also tried simply leaving the box in the wizard blanc, but that isn't any good either (screenshot).

So, is it possible to hide it?

Thanks in advance!

The comment links are included by the line that says:
$.comments->print();

That calls a separate function, which you'll have to edit in the theme layer:
function CommentInfo::print() {
#    if ($.show_readlink)   {
#        """<li class="asset-meta-comments item asset-meta-no-comments">"""; $this->print_readlink(); "</li>\n";
#    }
    if ($.show_postlink) {
        """<li class="asset-meta-comments item asset-meta-no-comments">"""; $this->print_postlink(); "</li>\n";
    }
}

What pages don't have it already?
