Modifying linkbar on "reply to" page

  • Aug. 23rd, 2008 at 12:25 AM
Is it possible to modify the | separator on the "Reply To" (lj-view-reply) page? For some reason it appears to the left of each linkbar item, and I'd like to move it to the right. I have a custom layer I've been tweaking and I've been unable to figure this out.

Set a border-right style in .asset-meta-list .item {} instead of border-left.

Hmmmm...nothing seems to be working. Is there any way to just delete or hide the linkbar entirely on the view-reply page without messing up the linkbar on other pages?

Your journal is missing all its style. Where can I see what it looks like?

Pardon the obsessiveness
I'm trying to write my own. It's pretty ugly right now, and I've become hung up on this silly view-reply page.

I wanted a 10 px margin between the items on the linkbar on the entry, like this:
ul.asset-meta-list {clear: both; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; list-style-type: none;}
li.asset-meta-comments {display: inline; margin: 0px 10px 0px 0px;}
ul.asset-meta-list .item {border: 0px;}

The comment linkbar:
.comment-links span {padding-right: 10px}

However, the only solution I've found for the reply page is to pad the .separator. Because it's on the left, it also indents the linkbar.

BTW, I really appreciate your help.

Re: Pardon the obsessiveness
I'm not seeing any indenting of the linkbar, whether I look at an entry page or reply page. The 10px of margin you have there is on the right. So either I'm being slow or I'm looking at a different version of your page than you are.

Re: Pardon the obsessiveness
I just realized that I needed to specify the comment as entry page. I'm sorry! I'm a total amateur.
I was able to figure something out in the layer, though. Thanks for your help.
