Sidebar calendar format.

  • Feb. 2nd, 2008 at 1:49 PM
Hi people!

I'm using a slightly modified 'Guitar' theme, and was wondering how to make it so that in the sidebar calendar the dates that I have posted entries will look bolded? Currently I have to hover over the dates for them to change, at which point they appear as underlined links, but in my previous used theme (Endless Summer) the bolding was automatic.

Either layer code or CSS is fine; I have very few modifications so I'm not fussed which I use.

Thank you!

Well, you can do this:
.calendar-widget a {
    font-weight: bold;
}

But, there doesn't seem to be a way to keep it from turning the month header bold. Even this:
.calendar-widget td a {
    font-weight: bold;
}
keeps the footer from being bold, but doesn't affect the header, either.

Ah. Thank you, though! Hmmm, that's a bit weird with the header, though.

It's not that weird; the header is inside a <td> element in the calendar table that spans the whole width. The footer is on its own, which is why the second statement doesn't affect it.
